What is an achievement you are proud of at EXCEL?

I appreciate the opportunity to be challenged and grow my skill and knowledge. I have had many opportunities to take on great efforts at a young age. I am proud to be part of the dynamic team built here at EXCEL.

CF Industries AM6 Expansion

How has EXCEL helped develop your career?

I have been provided many unique opportunities that otherwise would not have come my way.

What drew you to BAL CONSTRUCTIONS initially? And how has the company changed?

Opportunity for personal and professional growth.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

Work hard, travel, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t in your current role?

I imagine I would be in computer engineering or something tech-related.

What are your hopes for our industry?

I hope that we, as an industry, continue to innovate and grow more efficiently and resourcefully

Who/what inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My uncle worked in industrial construction for 40 years.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

What is the toughest challenge you have had in your career? How did you overcome it?

The travel and lifestyle changes that are required have been a challenge. To overcome this, I’ve developed relationships with coworkers to fill the social and hobby voids that come with extended travel. I put my head down a sought advancement.

What is something on your bucket list?

A European backpacking trip

What is your personal motto or mantra?

Gym, Tan, Laundry

What is your hidden talent? I can lift heavy objects very high in the air.
