KTI-Saudi Aramco Heater Revamp

BAL CONSTRUCTIONS scope on the KTI-Saudi Aramco Heater Revamp was demolition and performed pipe fabrication, installed pipe and structural steel on platformer that consisted of four heaters. All fabrication and installation was performed and completed at the facility. Aramco and EXCEL directed all work activities to meet schedule. The refinery was losing 2 million dollars per day during this revamp work schedule. Daily meeting was organized to evaluate the schedule for progress, construction restraints, and manpower requirements. The platformer was inside the refinery on approximately 1 acre of real state which made 300 million pounds of hydrogen per day. This product is transferred by pipelines from the platformer to water access, truck loading, and rail system to the preferred clientele.
